RADAR worked with Nicholls & Clarke, who invented the RADAR locks that are still fitted and used today, to launch the National Key Scheme in 1981.

Buying your own RADAR key gives you independent access to over 9,000 disabled public toilets around the UK.

Every penny you spend on DR UK’s RADAR keys will be ploughed right back into fighting for disability justice, including campaigning for the rights of people with non-visible conditions and raising awareness of the fact that not everyone who needs an accessible toilet ‘looks disabled’.
