The company specializes in mixing powder products and filling them in various forms, they also produce pastes, liquids, and ancillary products. The role is working as the sole engineer and will also require good communication skills with relevant contractors to ensure continuous production and implement improvements.



 



Key Responsibilities:



 




  • Perform and improve planned maintenance on all equipment.

  • Perform and improve reactive maintenance on all equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime.

Responsibility



Nicobond is a high-quality British manufacturer of flooring and tiling products with over 65 years of manufacturing experience. Due to ongoing success, we are expanding our factory technical sales team and are looking for a highly motivated, capable salesperson with experience in the flooring industry to sell our range of smoothing compounds, screeds, moisture control systems, and specialist mortars to flooring contractors in the South of England.



The successful candidate will be in the Southeast of England. This is a field-based role visiting flooring contractors and site-related specifiers on a full-time basis.



As part of the factory team, this role also incorporates the ability to sell our toll manufacturing service to other brands and companies. Nicobond currently manufactures for over 25 third-party brands in the UK and Europe. Nicobond is also manufactured in the Middle East and Far East and has a well-established customer base.



The successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive induction and significant one-to-one training on an ongoing basis from one of our factory-based technical sales experts, who will also offer field-based support. N+C Glass are highly reputable Glass window manufacturers and have been operating for nearly 150 years. Our Fareham warehouse has a vacancy on our sealed unit line at the end stage of the sealing robot. This position is on our day shift with the working hours being 6am-4.30pm. No experience necessary. This is a manual job that requires lifting of units and attention to detail to spot any quality issues.

Production Operative- Stoke

Role: Production Operative - Full Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Production Operative (Fork and reach truck) for a UK manufacturer of cement based materials is looking for production staff to complete roles within the factory and warehouse areas. You will play a key role in the day to day production operations ensuring quality and efficiency at all times. This role involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting, so the applicant must be physically fit. Able multitask as various tasks are required to be completed. The role is varying shifts depending on the business requirements and is based on an 8 hour shifts as standard with overtime opportunities. The specific role that we are looking for requires the operator to have a valid Fork truck certificate (Reach truck also would be an advantage) The role would be to carry out fork lifting duties throughout the factory/warehouses and also to oversee goods in and putting away, the duties may also include working on production machinery when required.

  • Operating and assisting with equipment on the production lines.

  • Overseeing the goods in process and putting goods away.

  • Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles as required.

  • Assisting despatching of goods when required.

  • Ensure that work area is kept clean and safe.

Experience




  • Must be physically fit as part of the role is manually moving 20-25kg sacks.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.

  • Counterbalance certificate and experience is essential.

  • Reach truck experience is preferable.

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team but also to work independently on occasions.

  • Willing to work in a fast paced industrial environment

  • Understanding of written and spoken English.
