Credit Control Administrator/Assistant

We now have a vacancy for a Credit Control Admin/Assistant to join this friendly team due to the relocation of the previous job holder.



Role responsibilities for Office/Admin Assistant:




  • Open/Sort Post Daily.

  • Send post out at the end of day.

  • Receive and Process New Account Applications.

  • Run online Credit Reports for new account applications and some existing accounts.

  • Collate all New Account paperwork and pass to Credit Manager for approval.

  • Enter approved accounts onto Kerridge system and send approved new details to branches.

  • Send rejected accounts memo’s to branches advising of rejection.

  • Send emails to applicants offering Proforma/Cash Account terms.

  • Sales Ledger Cash (BACS) (Cheques) & (Credit Cards) – Sort and enter onto Kerridge daily.

Due to a planned upturn in business, we are recruiting for Production Operatives who will ideally have precious experience within a manufacturing environment, but we will consider applications from people who don’t have this because we will be training you in full. It would be good if you have a Forklift Truck license/experience.



The Opportunity – Production Operatives:

Production Operatives will form part of a shift team and have specific duties within an assigned section although, with time, training will be given within other areas of production leading to multi skills development to suit the business. There will be opportunities in different sections, which allows people to acquire new skills and gain a better understanding of production processes.

You will need physical fitness, some strength and dexterity to succeed in the job. There may be a need to lift heavy objects, assemble parts, or engage in repetitive movements throughout a shift. The successful applicant will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications.

Although training will be provided in general, previous experience in production would be a distinct advantage with candidates showing experience in using production machinery. A forklift licence would be beneficial, but training would be provided for the right candidate.



Responsibilities – Production Operatives:

•    Running a semi-automated mixing plant manufacturing a wide range of products.

•    Running an automated filling line. Setting up and operation of specialised production machinery, ensuring each machine is always running effectively and safely.

•    Wrapping and stacking pallet in readiness for transfer to the warehouse.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with prior customer service/general management experience who is comfortable and confident in a customer facing role, dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner.



Responsibilities – Assistant Showroom Manager:

•    Provide excellent customer service to ensure a complete customer experience.

•    Inspire and motivate team members.

•    Support and assist customers during sales campaigns.

•    Perform stock control, checks and ordering duties.

•    Demonstrate energy, drive and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

•    Generating new trade leads.

•    Complete relevant paperwork.

•    Ensure displays are presentable.

•    General housekeeping – ensuring areas are clean and tidy at all times.

•    Maintain a smart appearance.

•    Complete special projects and tasks as directed by your manager.

•    Always comply with the companies Health & Safety requirements.

•    Personal protective clothing and equipment to be worn at all times.

•    Flexibility to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays.

•    Manual lifting will be involved.



Person Specification – Assistant Showroom Manager:

•    Previous relevant managerial experience preferred.

•    Ability to manage a team in a professional and positive way.

•    Ability to provide excellent customer service.

•    Physically fit.

•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

•    Attention to detail and reliable with good time keeping skills.

•    A strong team player with excellent rapport building skills.

•    A good sense of initiative.

•    Able to work under pressure.

We are looking for a positive & approachable Retail/Trade Sales Assistant to join our Friendly Team based in our Chadwell Heath store.



You will engage with customers and team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service through your enthusiasm and knowledge and be responsible for driving sales within our N&C Paint centre.



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Delivering high standard Customer Service through your product knowledge and inspiring Customers.

  • Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers.

  • Generating new trade leads through telephone sales.

  • Generating new trade leads through social media.

  • Maintaining stock levels and store appearance.

  • Mixing paint to customers’ requirements.

  • Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner.

  • Manual lifting when required.

  • Training sessions to increase product knowledge.

  • Working 45 hours a week, doing 5 out of 7 days including weekends & bank holidays.



Key Requirements:




  • Strong Customer service skills.

  • Excellent Communication Skills written & verbal.

  • Previous experience within the paint & decorating trade or sales.

  • Able to use electronic tills (Training on K8 system provided)

  • Friendly, Helpful & Confident with an engaging personality.

  • Comfortable dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner.

  • Ability to demonstrate energy, drive & a positive can-do attitude.

  • Must be flexible to cover store open hours, which will include weekends & Bank Holidays.

  • Smart Appearance as this is a customer facing role.
