N&C Glass are highly reputable Glass window manufacturers and has been operating for nearly 150 years. We have vacancies across our 3 fixed shifts. Day shift is either 6 am-4.30 pm or 7 am-3.30pm. Evening shift 3.30 pm-12.00 am. Night shift 10.30 pm-7 am.



As a Unit line Operative, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):




  • Operating glass processing machinery and equipment.

  • Maintaining health and safety regulations across the factory floor.

  • Housekeeping of machinery and work areas.

  • Manual handling of glass

  • The quality and cleanliness of glass.

  • Working on an automated unit production line.

  • Cleanliness of the finished product.

As an evening shift loader, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):



· Maintaining health and safety regulations across the factory floor.

· Pre loading sealed units ready for dispatch.



· Loading units on to stillages and loading vehicles.

The hours of work will be 45 hours per week, 7am – 5 pm - Monday to Friday.



Job Description



Key Responsibilities:




  • Checking goods and wrapping pallets prior to loading

  • Delivering goods in a professional manner

  • Assembling orders when necessary.

  • Due to the nature of the business and the needs of our customers, at times some heavy lifting will be involved.



Key Skills:




  • You must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of CPC training

  • Current HGV Class 2 licence

Key Requirements for Retail Sales Assistant:




  • Previous experience in similar roles/ environments (desirable)

  • Experience in providing customer service

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable in regularly handling customer situations
