A: Outdoor tiles are recommended to be 2cm porcelain as they are thick and durable, designed to withstand frost and cracking. 1cm Victorian porcelain tiles can be put outside if on walls or laid on concrete. The concrete needs to have a slight slope to allow for water to run off, and tiles must be laid expertly to ensure there are no pockets between the tiles and concrete.

Q: What grout colour works best with Victorian tiles?

A: The best grout colour all depends on your chosen colour and pattern; charcoal and grey are commonly used as midtones to help make the pattern stand out whilst hiding dirt. Lighter grout can help accentuate patterns and colours and darker tones create a more classic look.
