NC proudly contributed to the renovations of Aberdeen Sports Village as a commercial tiling contractor This project required shower area refurbishment and commercial waterproofing solutions for busy commercial showering areas with the client seeking waterproofing measures and highperformance wet area tiling.

The client had previous issues with water infiltrating the substrate and therefore, consulted N&C for advice and materials. Working alongside the contractor, Colin Gibson, the walls were taken back to brickwork, over boarded with N&C Tilebacker board, which was both mechanically and chemically fixed, ensuring structural integrity within these high traffic commercial areas. Tiling was completed using Nicobond Semi rapid S1 and Starlike Evo – Extreme performance grout, to ensure the tiles were secure and water resistant.

These solutions were provided over 2 commercial showering areas within the sports village, with N&C helping with various other repairs across the site.

The relationship established between our Sales Representative, Shaun Cardwell and the client meant they trust our advice and expertise and used the materials suggested throughout the project, even using our products for additional repairs throughout the site.
