Melly Sophia x N&C Tiles and Bathrooms

Making a House .... a Home
Homeowner and social media influencer, Melly Sophia invited us into her home where she showed us her home transformation using N&C Tiles and Bathrooms to make her dream home a reality. With a keen eye for detail, Melly had a vision of a home that was a warm, fresh and minimalist-inspired space.
For Melly and her husband, the journey was all about creating a home that felt open, light, and timelessly stylish. It was more than just interior design, it was more about creating a feeling of home. “We went into it with a minimalist mindset,” Melly explains, “that way we knew we wanted to continually add and build up our home in a personal and unique way”. With the wall and floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, we wanted it to feel open, bright and fresh, but with added warmth to make it feel cosy and homely.”
Now you can explore each room and shop Melly’s look to bring that same neutral, cosy and minimalistic feel into your own home.
Bathroom
Melly wanted her master bathroom to feel special. After visiting our N&C Tiles and Bathroom, Orpington showroom, Melly Sophia and her husband spotted the look they were after. "N&C Tiles and Bathrooms had the look that I wanted to create with their Future Stone Collection. It is sophisticated yet the stone effect offers a warm yet modern aethestic."

En-suite
Melly and her husband opted for a space that the newlyweds could share together, with double basin sinks, extra wide LED bathroom mirror and a double shower, finished with sophisticated brushed brass taps, sliding shower screen and shower heads. The tiled feature wall was installed in herringbone format using N&C Gleeze.

Kitchen
Melly loved her herringbone feature within the ensuite so much, she wanted her guests view the collection, so opted for very same tile collection her kitchen as the kitchen backsplash.

A Visit to Our Tile and Bathroom Showroom
Inspired by Scandinavian simplicity, Melly worked with the team at N&C Tiles and Bathrooms to bring to life the style and look that she wanted to achieve: a calming space with neutral, soft textures and a statement feature wall using a mixture or tile sample service, our creative hub for bringing together different looks and our inspirational showrooms that helped Melly to visualise the look she was after. From the en-suite to the kitchen splashback, every detail reflects her signature style and vision of a cosy, yet fresh and minimalistic sanctuary.

When visiting the showroom, the room set featured a champagne style bath edge with a full tiled face which was beautiful, but Melly wanted to further elevate her bathroom even more, so opted for the Freestanding Arlington Bath. Finished off with a stunning LED mirror, vanity unit and freestanding bath mixer, the look was complete.

Melly’s Style Journey
We caught up with Melly Sophia and asked her some questions about her experience sourcing the right products.
How did N&C help you source the right product?
The guys at N&C truly were tile experts. I really didn’t know what tile design I wanted, but when I described the look I was after, they pulled out exactly what I wanted. I even picked up a beautiful, round LED mirror from them.
How did you go about selecting the tiles?
I think it’s really important to see the tiles, I went to the N&C showroom and there is no way I would’ve had the same effect or experience had I purchased it elsewhere online as I originally set out to do.
Tell me about the selection you got shown?
When I asked for a luxury tile, I got shown so many different options. They really paired the products well, I love Italian Onyx for my studio the moment I saw it, I loved the way the light reflected off it, there is so much depth and detailing, I love it! I get a lot of lovely comments about the tile when people enter the studio.
